The trigger shot contains r-hCG which is similar to your body's natural hormone lh. It signals your body to release mature egg follicles. You should ovulate between 12-48 hours after the trigger, with the average being 36 hours after. If you are using the trigger shot with timed intercourse you should bd the day after the trigger and the day after that.
