Question

Feeling like an emotional wreck!!!

I don't know where to start with this. At 4w4d I believe I had a cp/emc. I bled for a total of 8 days very heavily with four of those days clotting badly with large clots, I am still spotting now but it's only brown blood and not all the time and I'm on cd11. I'm trying to put a brave face on things but emotionally I'm beaten, I think its because I haven't told my DH what has happened and never got the chance to test as I started spotting before I planned to. I also have some pain on the left of my uterus but I'm not sure If this has anything to do with it as I do have a problem with the joint in my back which is between the pelvis and the spine, and sometimes when my back hurts the pain does come around to the front. I am thinking that maybe I should go to the doctor about this and the possible cp/emc. My emotions are all over the place. Any advice would be great.

Hi I am really sorry to hear what you are going through. I would still do a HPT as if you were pregnant it may still show then go to the doctor to get some blood works done. Do you monitor your BBT? if you dont have a significant temperature increase after ovulation it is possible that you arent producing enough progesterone to sustain an early pregnancy. If this is the case it can be easily remedied with progesterone cream. I think you should share with your DH as he'd want to support you. Go to the doctors and if nothing else they can check there is nothing sinister going on and confirm that you are healthy and its just something awful that has happened. FX that you get a successful stinky bean soon x

hey dear!! one of the nurses i have talked to about large clots, she mentioned that sometimes it can be miscarry and the way you are explaining your pains it sounds like one. but I would prefer you to check on your doctor just to be quite sure, because if it happens that it was a miscarry you have to be treated so that it can not make some difficulties on your journey. baby dust to you ga.l..

Thank you for your comments. If things don't improve by Monday then I will definitely be making a doctors appointment

Also do realise that your uterine lining can shed for it's own reason. This can happen to any woman, this has happened to me and it was not a MC. The only way to prove a CP pregnancy is HPT or blood test.

I think the sheding is a good thing because it cleans out all the old stuff in there. So try to keep positive.
Also go to the Doctor because they can give you a couple of different meds to either reset your cycle or stop the bleeding if it is annoying you (and looks like it will never stop).

Thank you. I never knew that about the lining. This time my period was so intense and I've never experienced that before. It was horrible
