How accurate are early scans?

Hi i had an early scan tuesday due to spotting, from my last period i would have been 6 wks monday, when i had the scan they dated me at 5 wks 3days, they seen a heartbeat, fetal pole and yolk sac and it measured 2mm, im worried that its small, and also it would mean when i got my first positive test i would have been 8dpo and it wasnt faint was a clear positive and i done a digital at the same time, are these scans accurate or could the size be wrong everywhere ive read it says at 5 wks itshard to find a heartbeat and also shoud measure 5mm any advice thanks x
