UK IVF/ICSI Questions, any help from ladies that have already been through this?
Hi, We've had what already feels like a very long wait for IVF/ICSI and was wondering roughly how much longer we were looking at now?
We found out about 9 months ago that my partner had very low sperm, done a couple of sperm analysis to confirm and then got referred to a fertility center at a local hospital that did all our blood work, scans, swabs etc. Just had our second appointment with them and all results came back normal and she referred us for IVF/ICSI, does any one know how long from around this stage it takes to start treatment?

What country are you in? That makes a huge difference to how the waiting time works. Even within a country is varies from clinic to clinic entirely dependent on demand. We are in the wait for IVF/ICSI at the moment. We have been on the list for a few months now and will (hopefully) find out at our appointment next week how long it might be before we can start. I suspect it will be around a year from going onto the waiting list before we can start treatment.
