Is it possible for 2 different blood types to be incompatible?
I just had my second miscarriage... The first was at 7 weeks, second was at about 5 weeks. I am RH negative, I had the rhogam shot about 3 days after my first m.c and the day before they confirmed this m.c.
We aren't sure of his blood type. But we're curious to see possibilities of why this happened again.

Absolutely! Because you are Rh negative, if your partner is Rh positive and the baby inherites the Rh positivefrom dad then your body will develop antibodies against the baby. When you miscarried the first time blood from that pregnancy mixed with your blood resulting in the formation of the antibodies. Those antibodies attacked the second pregnancy is my theory.

We just found out yesterdau that my dh is B+... I am A-... When we started TTC in 2008 we had a miscarriage before I could even get in to see a dr... I didn't receive a Rhogam booster after that mc, & we have since had 21 more chemicals & mc's... With our combo I should have received a Rhogam booster after every loss to prevent becoming sensitized... I asked my new dr about it last June, but he refused to give me the booster... Am planning to contact him again with this new info & see if he will now... Unfortunately, it may already be too late... If I have become sensitized, then we will seek a surrogate, so that my dh can have a biological child as I have 3 from my previous marriage...
