AF came after 55 days

I just wanted to let people know how much stress can affect your cycles. I have just finished a 55 day cycle as I was highly stressed so my AF was late.
I even had a scan to see what was going on and my pcos thanks to metformin has gone I have no cysts. I was told I am very healthy and fertile so fingers crossed for this cycle.
Metformin really does work i've took it for 4 years now.

Conversely, I have had very short cycles when stressed, around 19-22 days in length. Stress produces a hormone which affects your reproductive hormones. Sounds like you have had a clean bill of health, though. Good luck for next time.

5 years TTC. Endometriosis and adenomyosis. Surgery. 2 IVFs. No joy. Low ovarian reserve. Is there any real hope? DE IVF = next step. Much higher success rates, but so used to things not working, it's hard to feel too hopeful. Wishing others an easier time.
