10 dpo spotting

Hi All! Today is 10 dpo today. I had a BFN with fmu but I noticed a small amount of light brown spotting. I've had spotting before AF a 2-3 times in the last few years but it's always been bright red. My questions are: is 10dpo too late for implantation bleeding? Is there a way to tell the difference between implantation bleeding and AF spotting? And finally, how long after implantation bleeding until a BFP?
