Question

How to tell that I'm progressing good? Scared of miscarriage.

I'm pregnant!! I've had chemicals before this and I'm a ball of nerves. My prior pregnancies all ended just as soon as they began basically. I would take a test, get a BFP and then the next day I'd start getting negatives. I've been testing positive since Wednesday so that's a great sign! I called my obgyn and they can't get me in for four weeks! Im trying to find a new one but in the mean time, is there any way to check and make sure I'm progressing as normal? This morning my lines were a little darker than 48 hours ago but not a crazy difference! If you would like to see those comparisons, I posted them no you can find them on my page. Please let me know what you think!!!

Congratulations! I'm sorry your doctor can't get you in for 4 weeks, how frustrating. Can you call back and ask them if you could just come in and get your blood drawn? You can tell if your pregnancy is sticking by monitoring your hcg levels and making sure they about double every 48 hours, so you need those blood tests--much moreso that your doctor's time. If they won't even administer blood tests (you'd need them every 2 days) i guess you could buy clearblue digital pregnancy tests "with weeks estimator". Everybody's hcg levels are different, and this wouldn't be very scientific, but you could take one today and see if it says you're "1-2 weeks" and then again next week and hopefully it'll say "2-3 weeks" and the week after "3-4 weeks" and then you could set your mind at ease a bit until you get in to see your doc. Good luck and congrats!

Me: 33, DH: 36, TTC since 9/13 1 chemical ectopic @ 5 weeks 9/13, treated w/ methotrexate 1 chemical @ 4 weeks 2/14 BFP on 3/30/14!!!

The fact that you keep getting positives is great! The lines getting darker is great, too, but pregnancy tests are not really meant to give info on whether the pregnancy is progressing well. I would say call your OB and let them know that even though you understand you can't see a doc for a few weeks, ask if they would be willing to do blood draws to measure your HCG levels. You should expect to see the number double over 48 hours. I would guess since you are only asking for lab services, they would probably be willing to get you in. Good luck!
