Question

Thinking about baby #2

My hubby and I have been talking about having another baby. I know that I want more kids but one thing keeps crossing my mind. How can I do things for both? How can I make time for both and stuff like that, Has anyone ever had these thoughts or any tips?

Hi. I'm am TTC nr 2 and I have had many of the same worries. But I know that millions of people have more than one child and they manage to give each child what they need in terms of love and attention. I am sure that we can do it too!

Hi, I have 5 children and often feel like I don't give each one enough attention but they are all very happy healthy children and doing well in school and with friends socially so I guess they must all be okay :) none of them are ever left out and all have cuddles when they want them. Having more than one doesnt mean either is missing out. I think its nice to have more than one child as they will always have each other as they grow up. xxx good luck with ttc xxx

We are ttc #2. We both love our daughter so much that we find it difficult to imagine loving our next one as much...but humans are capable of unlimited amount of love, and compassion. And as for providing, you are fully capable! You will be so in love with that little one that it will just be natural!! good luck!

My two boys are only 14 months apart. They are happy and healthy, and we made due when they were young. I was very tired for the first couple years, and chasing a toddler and having a newborn wasn't easy, but now I look back at how much fun it was and laugh. I would have liked to plan it further apart, but the universe had other plans! Don't worry, #1 will have so much fun with a baby around in the beginning, and they will be happy that they have a pal to grow up with! :) Good luck!

Hi there
I am also TTC # 2 and think this is a completely natural concern. I have asked myself this, my daughter is 4 and has had mummy and daddys undivided attention and love since day one but I know due to my love of # 2 (a little person who has not yet materialised) is already so deep I know I will love him or her just as much and that my daughter will too! x
