Question

If you stop birth control and bleed right away, will you still bleed on your usual withdrawal week?

Hi everyone! I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for 5 full months. My boyfriend and I decided that we would like to start TTC soon, so I stopped my current pack after the first week. I bled after missing 3 pills, although it only lasted for 4 days instead of my usual 6-7 and was lighter than my usual periods. My boyfriend and I did have sex on the days that I missed pills, but we haven't since.
Today should have been the last day of my normal period if I had taken my birth control normally, but...no period.
Is this normal? Is there any chance that I could be pregnant already(I hope not, but if so it's definitely okay! haha)? And if it is normal, how long should it take for my cycle to readjust?

It is normal for it to take several months for your cycle to regulate after coming off bc. For me, it took about 4 months or so. However, it is possible to ovulate right away & to conceive. The only way to know is to test. Gl!
