Brown spotting for a few days before af, is this normal?
Hello, I have been having brown spotting (enough to need one or two light tampons a day) for 3-4 days before my period for the past few months. Before that I would have the same spotting only lighter. Is this normal? Is it hurting my chances of conception? Should I count this as first day of af? So confused! Any advice is appreciated.

It could possibly be implantation bleeding. Typically implantation bleeding occurs about 9 days post ovulation. That time frame takes you a couple of days before your missed period. I might be a bit concerned about the amount of bleeding, seeing as you are needing tampons. I suppose everyone is different. When in doubt, acll your OBGYN and ask.
