Question

Is it best to call it a day?

We have been ttc #5 for a year next month. In that time I have had 2 confirmed consecutive early mc's (I suspect more). All my other children were conceived within 1/2 months of trying, my 3rd was conceived on the pill! We are getting really disheartened with it all now - and just wondering if anyone has any positive experience or is it best to just give up now?

#5 you're brave! I can't imagine 5! From what I've heard from a few people who have more than 3 kids, it seems to take longer and longer, I don't know what the science behind that is, could be the uterus is just changing so much. I think that in your situation, I would just try to not try if you know what I mean. Go protection free and just do it for fun, not to make babies and I think it will happen. Some people try for years and end up with a baby in the end. My friend is now 25 weeks after three solid years of trying with clomid even. When the finally got pregnant it was when they had given up trying. I think trying is stressful and stress is just harmful period. My miscarriage happened at a time when I was extremely stressed and I know it was harmful to the baby. Just try to stay positive!! :)
