Question

Two LH surges in one week?

Using OPK this month. I was predicted (from previous cycles) on Saturday Jan 18th. Neg OV tests thurs (16) and friday (17). We were out of town Saturday and Sunday and I forgot to take my strips with me, so I didn't test on Saturday. On Sunday when we got back, I had a positive. On Monday I had a positive similar in color to the previous one. Tuesday, I took one and it was negative. Today I took one and it was very dark positive. Is it possible to have two LH surges and if so, would they be this close together?

Yes it is possible to have two LH surges. You could have caught your surge as soon as it started to surge or you could have geared up to ovulate and then for whatever reason your body didn't release the egg so your body heated up again and probably ovulated this time. Are you charting? If not I highly rec charting so that you can actually see if you have or have not ovulated. Obviously you can't really get an accurate chart this far into your cycle but it's worth it if you should have to try again next cycle. Best of luck and lots of baby dust!!
