Question

Drinking lots of water.

Can drinking lots of water prevent a positive test. I drink 5 to 6 bottles of water a day and they are 16 ounce bottles. My urines is never really dark. Not even in the morning. I dont drink juice. And I have an occasional diet coke.

With the amount of tests you have taken I would say you would have definitely had a positive in one of them by now. But Try not drinking water for about an hour before you take the test and see if that will help a line show up.

In my opinion, yes. I drink tons of water too. I got three positive hpt (VERY FAINT) which was either morning urine or held 4-6 hours, negative urine at my OB (my urine was SO CLEAR), positive blood confirmed it. Good Luck!

My friend didn't get a positive pregnancy test until she was 7 weeks pregnant because she always drank so much water. So yes, it can cause you to get negatives!
