Question

6 weeks pregnant and slow rising hcg levels.. seen the baby an heart is beating fine.. confused!!!

I found out 2 weeks ago im pregnant and I went for a scan as my hcg levels aint rising as they ment to be.. 5 days after my scan I started getting pink/brown when I wipe got a shower an got blood went to the hospital an they took my blood today my hcg levels are 8000... my first hcg was 4200 second was 5700 and obvs today 8000...I don't get a scan until Thursday but my brain is driving me crazy with this as its taken me 6 years to get pregnant? can anyone actually help me understand a bit mor?

Some people just have naturally slow level hormones, I always have low levels of HCG good luck xxx also 8000 isnt low for 6weeks, it could be anything between 1,000 to 56000

Thanks I've been having my brain rattling can you tell me your hcg leveles an have you had a term pregnancy? See I've been having the bleeding/pink brown spotting for 3 days an it doesn't seem to be changing apart from I can wipe 3 time out of 12 an theres nothing there

I had slow rising HCG which never reached 10,000. I had a scan around 7 weeks and saw a heartbeat but I had spotting for weeks, then miscarried at 10 weeks :( I hope your pregnancy goes much, much better than mine, but one thing to remember is that if you are going to miscarry there is absolutely nothing you or any doctor can do to stop it. So hard as it is, try as much as you can to be positive and carry on and relax as much as possible, because that is good for you and your baby!
