Am I miscarrying? Bleeding and cramping.....
First off, I had what I thought was a light period the 1st of the month. Light, no clots or cramping. So after a sharp pain in my lower abdomen 5 days ago 01/13, I took a HPT and it was positive. Started spotting with very minimal cramping the next day 01/14 and went to the doctor the day after that 01/15. Nothing found on the TV ultrasound (I have a tilted uterus btw) which according to dates I would be 6 wks, but still had + tests. OB nurse said I could be miscarrying it it's too early to see anything. So doc sent me for betas that day 01/15 and two days later 01/17 (yesterday). My follow up isn't for another 4 days 01/22 (making it a week between visits). I took two HPT yesterday and they were so positive the control line was faint. I'm still experiencing cramping and bleeding with two very very small clots over the course of 5 days. Bleeding is not enough to fill a panty liner. I'm so afraid I'm miscarrying. This is so hard....my first pregnancy 4 years ago ended in stillbirth at 3

The spotting and the cramping are definitely worrying but try to stay as positive as you can. I had a miscarriage early last year and I wish some had told me not to stress. If you are miscarrying there is nothing you can do about it, but there are quite a lot of women who have bleeding (and cramping) and still go on to have healthy pregnancies. Did they not tell you what the blood test results were? That is good the HPTs were so positive. Do you know when you ovulated? At 6 weeks they should be able to see a whole lot on the scan. Is it possible you ovulated later than CD14? If so then you would be less far along than if calculating by LMP.
I hope things go okay for you!!
