As long as you're in a ventilated room (fan on windows open) It's fine. You just cant be breathing in fumes in a tiny bathroom with not airflow. When I was pregnant the 1st time my friend dyed my hair and we did it with me sitting on a chair in the middle of the backyard lol tough part was rinsing it out, we used the hose because I didnt want to get in the tiny shower stall and breath in the fumes.

I highlighted my hair when I was pregers ! Like Ellie said just stay in a well ventilated room .. I had my done in salon and I had no problems ! Good Luck and congrats
