Are you sure you already ovulated? I have been having an interesting cycle. My BBT spiked two days ago, but I had the most painful cramping I have ever had yesterday, and I have EWCM today so despite the temps I think I might not have ovulated yet!! You can get cramping after ovulation as the fallopian tubes have some contractions to move the egg down towards the uterus. I normally don't have cramps after ovulation either though.

Yes, I am positive that I ovulated. I have been doing OPK and noticed my fertile days and got a very strong positive on CD17. I also took clomid from CD7-11, which makes me believe that I really ovulated on day 17. It could be a result from the clomid but definitely something I am not use to. Thanks for your advice

I am on clomid too! I do think the strong cramping is because of my response to that because I never had cramping like this before clomid. This is my 6th cycle on in and each has been slightly different! So I still am not 100% sure when I ovulated despite charting BBT, monitoring cervical mucus and using OPKs. You are fortunate OPKs are working for you. This cycle I have had three nearly positives. The middle one was darkest so I am thinking that is my positive, but that was the day I had already had quite a temperature rise and the worst of my cramping. I am just going to try and relax and not worry too much what my actual ovulation date is. We covered all our bases for getting pregnant anyway :)
