3 months ttc is not long enough to be even considering giving up. I know it feels like an eternity but it isnt. It can take a healthy couple a year or longer to conceive. Eventually it will work. To maximize ur chances per cycle, u wanna be using opk's, learn to take ur basal temp daily and properly, check cm and if u can stomach it (it makes some queasy) check ur cervix. Most women who think they have a late period, actually dont, they had a late ovulation and werent properly tracking to know this...which actually means they were ttc at the wrong time.
I found each month that went by, was easier to deal with seeing bfn's, and if anything, motivated me more to get to my goal. We tried for 18 months, had fertility testing, took a ridiculous amount of vitamins everyday, played around with bd patterns...all without the slightest hint of a bfp. I finally got those two lines and boy were they a surprise. Stay positive, it WILL happen! =))

I felt the same way and I'm on month 4 (probably about to be 5!) and that negative test and AF combo made me feel like a ton of bricks was dropped on me, and then I realized that worrying about it wouldn't help only hurt my chances! so now I'm trying to find small fun things to entertain me and continue trying like we have been! I even took up a pre-pregnancy Pilates class (going to need those killer abs to push right?!) to help bust down my stress level, works like a charm too :) just find other things that you like doing to help curb your stress level and make it fun for you and him!
