Coconut oil as sperm friendly lubricant????
I am absolutely feeling the effects of 100mg of Clomid on cervical mucus.....has anyone heard that coconut oil is a good, sperm-friendly lubricant???? I actually ready that, and I quote here, "sperm love to swim in coconut oil".
I mean seriously, you need the Clomid, but then it makes it difficult to even baby dance!!! So frustrating!

I, personally, wouldnt use an oil, its not the same consistency as fertile fluids and could potentially slow down the sperm...just my preference tho, Im sure others have had success with it. I preferred preseed. If u want ur own fluids instead, talk to ur doctor about being put on an estrogen supp after clomid. That'll amp up cm production and plump up the lining (if clomid affected that, it did mine).

From the reputable sources I've read it sounds like you should not use coconut oil, olive oil, or egg whites. Obviously your own ewcm is the best. If that's not in the cards we used preseed on the days we needed extra and we liked it. Preseed is supposed to be the most sperm friendly lubricant. Coconut oil is awesome in pancakes though, FYI, ;)

I just found this from www.coconutresearchcenter.com/hwnl_9-1.htmâ??
To my knowledge there have not been any studies on this topic. However, we can logically assume that coconut oil would not harm sperm because it does not attack human tissue, but rather feeds it. Human cells absorb the MCFAs and use them like they would glucose, as food, to produce energy. Sperm would be no different. If anything, I would think it might make the sperm more motile and thus increase the odds of pregnancy. Coconut oil should be a safe lubricant for those wanting to get pregnant.
