Question

Clomid affects on Cervical Mucus

I have read that Clomid can negatively affect cervical mucus. Today is CD 10 and my last day of 100mg Clomid. I've been paying attention to my CM (which I always do)....funny thing....today my CM is egg white. That seems early.....

Any thoughts????

That's great!!! The only effects that clomid *may* have is to thicken cervical mucus so it is no longer aids fertility, but if you have EWCM that is excellent!!! It is certainly not too early to ovulate, and some women have ovulated even while still taking the clomid (though not because of the clomid).

Just as another check, if you have had sex recently (in the last day) both semen and arousal fluids look extremely similar to EWCM.

And if your cm is too "thick" which makes it difficult for sperm to transgress to their spot, I have been told you can take otc Robitussin which will help thin out the cm. I was a little shocked at that, but I guess it makes sense--mucus is mucus lol
