Question

Is this normal??

My cycles are 22-25 days. Could this be why I can't get pregnant??

Honestly I have a very regular 32 day cycle! I just was told today that I have PCOS. The best thing to do is talk with your doctor. If you are under 30 yrs old and healthy and been trying for over a year without ending up pregnant then the doctor will figure out what's wrong. Normal, young, healthy couples will conceive in the first year of trying.. I wish I could help but I've been pregnant 5 times and lost every pregnancy, don't go through what I went through without getting thoroughly checked out! Good luck

A short cycle is completely fine as long as you have a normal luteal phase. For example, if your cycle is 24 days long you should ovulate at cd 10 in order to have a 14 day luteal phase. If you ovulate earlier than normal you should be fine. The 14 day luteal phase is what's important. If af is showing up too early after ovulation it can interrupt or prevent implantation. Have you used opks or tracked you bbt to find out when you ovulate?

I have used opks before and liked them. I personally didn't have a routine enough sleep schedule to do the bbt tracking with any reliability. It is hard to stay consistent with it. I bought the opks and tested am and pm until I got a positive and then for 2-3 more days just to be sure ( don't drive yourself nuts and keep testing for a week or more). Normally you will ovulate between 24-36 hours after a positive, but could be as soon as 12 hours or as late as 48 hours. They could give you a fairly accurate idea of when you should ovulate ahead of time. Bbt tracking will let you know that you probably did ovulate after the fact. Unfortunately the only way to know for sure is through blood work and ultrasound, but after only 2 months you don't really need to go there yet unless you are never getting positive opks or something.
