Question

Clomid and ovulation??

I started clomid on cd 5-9 and im wondering if I could've ovulated already.
I started cramping on cd 6, which I'm assuming the cramp where because of the clomid.I just stopped cramping today which is cd 13. I haven't used opk's, but my husband and I have has sex everyday since cd 5. Could I have already ovulated??

The best way to track when using clomid is the opk's b/c the clomid has been known to delay ovulation some, but not in all cases. You will ovulate on clomid around the time when you normally do. So, if you normally ovulate on day 6, then yes, it is a possibility you already ovulated. Clomid stimulates the ovaries, so that could have contributed to the cramping. If you normally ovulate later, it may be a good idea to use some opk's the next couple of days and see what happens. Did you have the ewcm this cycle yet? That is a great indicator of your fertile period. Good luck. Since you have bd this whole time, at least you know you have covered that period, so try out the opk's and see what happens. :)
