Q: Spotting or ovarian cyst?

I had a quick question and I can't seem to find an answer on google, hopefully some of you have experience with this. I spotted about a week after I O'd, and I was wondering if it was more likely to be implantation bleeding or a result from a burst cyst. The spotting has been accompanied by cramping in my abdomen. Does anyone know which is most likely? I'm actively TTC and I've been tracking everything pretty well. Spotting was dark brown and about the size of two quarters in my underwear, stopped after one day. It's still too early for me to test, so I'm hoping to talk to someone with experience or medical knowledge. Thanks.

Hi i have suffered from ovarian cysts ever since i started my AF most recently i has a 6cm cyst It could differ from one person to another but when my cysts burst i cannot move and the pain is intolerable, usually the bleeding lasts for quite some time, i have had bleeding from a cyst that lasted 6 weeks.

fingers crossed for you that it was implantation bleeding.

Hi. I dont know if it helps to say that last month I had an ovarian cyst that burst, at least that was the doctor said. I thought I was pregnant because I WAS BLOATED to the point I showed like 6 months in pregnancy and I had so much cramping and gas that you could hear the bubbles .Gas that never came out(TMI) BUT IT WAS SO PAINFUL AND UNBEARABLE. I had no spotting though. My abdomen was so tight and stretched that I could not even bend to tie my shoes without opening my legs apart.
