I agree with eag923. It wouldn't hurt to see an RE to at least rule out some of the obvious issues (if there are any). Also, your cycle is on the shorter side.... I don't know if you chart or not, but if you don't it's a good idea to start. Sometimes a short cycle can be an indication of a luteal phase that is too short. Things like this are correctable if you take the steps to find out about them. Otherwise, sometimes it just takes us girls in our 30's a little bit longer to conceive (I'm 36 also and have been ttc #2 for 8 months with two cp's). I will be taking my own advice and consulting with an RE just to rule out some of the "obvious" stuff. Good luck and baby dust to you!

I will be 36 next mo been ttc for 6 months I also have 25 to 26 day cycles thought I was ovulating by using cheap opk from dollar store when I started using expensive clearblue advanced 10 sticks for $30 never got an lh surge just high estrogen days and gave up. This month on 50 mg clomid doing bbt cheap and cb opks just to compare got 2 seperate + with cheap pack still just high with cb. Went to new dr today confirmed by ultrasound that I was no where near ovulation and he doesn't think I will even ovulate this month. I was so disheartened. He is increasing me to 100 mg. But I thought I was ovulating due to the 5 months of cheap opk, which now I don't know. He is retesting both myself and my husband and then will check me again next month by ultrasound at which time I may do iui. I wish I would have went to him earlier. Officially over 35 in 27 days... good luck:)

I would just call your OBGYN and seek help now :), but I'm impatient. We have only been TTC for about 6 months, and I'm only 24, but I'm going to be calling next week probably... because I have only had one natural cycle and one provera induced cycle during this time frame.
It never hurts to call and ask. They do say that if you are over 35 (even though just barely!), to seek help if you have been TTC for 6 months and have not had success. With your regular cycles, hopefully you will be fortunate enough to conceive soon! You never know what underlying factors could be at play though (for you or your husband), so it never hurts to have a quick consult with your doctor. ... even if it is just with the nurse over the phone!
