Question

Charting/ovulation question! Help!

Those of you that chart your temps do you normally get a low drop in temp right before you ovulate? I've been taking opks which are almost positive and noticed the drop this morning when I entered my temp. This is my first time being able to successfully chart so I am clueless. lol

Hi there. Not always. I have been charting for almost 2 years now and sometimes I have a slight drop, sometimes a slight rise on the day before ovulation. I have worked out that there is no foolproof pattern to predicting ovulation down to the day. Form other signs I can work out whether or not I am likely to ovulate within a week and that has made things much easier. What charting tells you is when you have ovulated. The exciting moment is when you see a temperature spike and it remains high for three days. Any further questions just ask away :)

I think that is a good sign especially if your temp spikes up tomorrow:) Most women have a slight drop and then spike the next day
