Question

How long should i wait to go have blood test?

I'm currently 26dpo and 9 days late. I have been testing since 9 dpo almost every day which have been all negative. however i did get either a faint line or a very convincing evap on 21 dpo. but ever since then all negs, which leads me to believe either i had a chemical or it was evap. but if it was chemical shouldn't i have got my period by now? I'm positive i ovulated when i did, both temp and opk's point to the same day. normally i don't go past a 40 day cycle however I'm going on 45. 13 dpo my temps were going south to welcome in my period but 15dpo they started climbing until they were higher then normal (and remained high). got a temp spike 11 dpo and a drop next day. and i have plenty of prego symptoms. i know its rare but some women never test positive on a hpt and have to have a blood test. i know i can technically go now and have one done but a neg blood test would be heartbreaking. i don"t want them to tell me I"m not late enough to test. how much longer should

You are certainly late enough to test. But, I understand about the wanting to avoid heartbreak. You need to decide what is going to be the best for you at this point - to find out one way or another, or wait in hope! I would probably go get a test sooner rather than later. I have hope for you!
