OPK as HPT? 8 or 9 dpo

I had a very clear temp shift 8 days ago and actually had a pretty big rise again today (up .25). With my daughter I didn't test positive until 14 dpo but I'm so impatient I tested today with ICs.. (Second morning urine) An opk and and hcg. The opk was definitely positive and the preg test was negative. Still possible I could be pregnant? Has this happened to any of you?

It's likely that you're just testing too early. Try to wait for 14 DPO, and hopefully you get your BFP!
