I didnt get blood work this time as numbers were worrying me last time..

Does this cause miscarriages?
And also what is the baseline number for someone who is not pregnant and someone who is?

Low progesterone is a common cause of miscarriage bc progesterone is what maintains the pregnancy. I've never really known my hormone level numbers, however, my OB told me that at 6 weeks she likes to see progesterone to be at least 20. I'm so sorry for your losses. If you do have a progesterone issue, it is an easy one to correct.

I am so sorry :( I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks. It is devastating. There is a lot of uncertainty around progesterone. They are not sure if low progesterone causes miscarriage or if it is a result of the need to miscarry. Evidence has shown that supplementation doesn't help, just prolongs the time to miscarry so that suggests the latter.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I've had three miscarriages cause I know the pain. Personally, mine were not from low progesterone but MANY miscarriages are. Normally by week six or seven your progesterone should be at least 25. Luckily if you have a progesterone issue it's very easy to fix for your next pregnant! You can actually take progesterone and it will help you to not miscarry!
