Anyone still vomiting past 1st trimester?
I'm 16w&2d with my second pregnancy. I've had all day sickness since implantation. If I try to eat my stomach just won't let me. I can only take sips of water. My doctor has prescribed me prescriptions(Zofran & Promethazine) for my vomiting but lately they stopped working. I will gain a pound but dont keep weight regular. I keep headaches/migraines daily and Tylenol doesn't even budge them. I'm worried about the baby and how it effects it's growth.

With my first pregnancy i threw up till about 20 weeks then it was just mild nausea throughout pregnancy once in a while certain smells or sights made me actually throw up.. it was so bad about 17 weeks i ended up severely dehydrated in the ER stuck whole day there.. for me it was my prenatals making it so bad i stopped taking them after trip to ER against DRs orders i always lied and said i took em my baby was healthy BTW..

I threw up daily from 12 weeks to 39 weeks, the day I had her. I was on both zofran and promethazine, they also let me take unisom in between the doses. There wasn't a lot that made me feel better. My baby was fine. :) Listen to your body - don't push it, rest when you need to, and keep hydrated.

Sorry you are going through this. I too am very sick. this is my third pregnancy with this sickness. My first I threw up all day every day until 26 weeks, with my second it was until 14 weeks, now with my third I am 9 weeks and still sick. I am also on both those medications. I don't eat much, or if I do eat most of it comes back up. The important thing is that you get enough fluids. Find something you can drink and drink drink drink it all day long! Being even slightly dehydrated makes the sickness worse.
As for baby, do not worry!!!! Both of my babies came out perfectly healthy! my first was 7.6lbs and my second 8.5lbs both born after 40 weeks.
if its been a while since you have kept fluids down you might need an IV. I went into the ER and got one about a week and a half ago and it helped so much! they put 2 liters of fluid into me and it helps the nausea and ton. I'm still sick as a dog, but not being so miserably dehydrated helped.
