Ok, I will try and make this short. I am on clomid also and I have been ovulating later then "normal". This month I am doing midcycle us. Thursday u received flashing smile face and had an us down. Dr said that they go by the peak which would be solid smile face. My follicles were too small to ovulate. I go back Monday so we will see I would go by solid smile face. Good luck. Are you taking temps, cm or cervix poistion ?

I used the same OPK for the first time this month and am currently towards the end of the dreaded 2ww. Not sure if it worked or not, but I've learned that the digital tests and 'line tests' are different. The digital flashing smiley was indicating you had an increase in estrogen, which is supposed to be the step before the LH surge (solid smiley). I believe the line tests are only looking for the LH surge and will be indicated when the test line is darker than the control line, which is probably why the line test was still showing negative even though you had a flashing smiley. There is a chance you haven't ovulated yet, but I was told once you get the flashing smiley to test twice a day to ensure you do not miss the LH surge. I got a flashing smiley on CD9 in the am and got a solid smiley CD9 in the pm. If you have more questions the clearblue helpline is really helpful! I hope this helped a little, good luck!
