I have a dip a day or two after ovulation as well as the day of, and some months I don't dip at all the day I ovulate.. there are so many factors to consider with temping. I'd trust FF, personally. Some women don't have a dip at all until their secondary estrogen surge, around 5-7dpo. Because of that secondary surge, a lot of women think its an implantation dip, which is basically a myth.

If you still think you may have ovulated late, go by the later date, that way you're not disappointed by testing too early; and be aware that AF may be around the corner a few days earlier than you expect.
