You should call your Dr. today and ask about progesterone. He or she might put you on supplements to keep your uterine lining in tact and it may stop the spotting.

When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter in 2010 I was almost 10weeks ( I have irregular cycles so not getting a period for a couple of months was never a worry for me) I remember having some achy crampy feelings in my lower abdomen for a few weeks and didn't know why. My husband wanted me to see a doc and before I went I took a HPT. SURPRISE! BFP (shocked is an understatement) Anyways, about 4 days after finding out I went to the restroom and there was a good bit of blood, like a period and I freaked. Sister-in-law took me to the ER, had an ultrasound done and I got to hear my sweet baby's heartbeat. Everything was fine and we now have a happy healthy BEAUTIFUL 3 year old.
I hope it eases your mind a little bit. Bleeding happens in pregnancy for some women without any problems from it. :)

Thanks ladies. It seems to be easing up a bit. Not so much stringy bits just brown discharge now. I'm praying it stops soon and all will be okay :)
