I haven't had AF start on its own in ten years and it did this month, does that mean i ovulated?

I took 100mg of clomid days 3-7. Got a positive OPK on day 15 and had a progesterone test on day 22. On day 31 AF started. This is the first time in literally ten years this has happened with out being medically induced. ( I have PCOS) My progesterone came back at 8.4 ( i had lab work done late in day not first thing in morning). Because it was less than 10 they said I didn't ovulate. I disagree, AF started on its own and never does. If I didn't ovulate then what started AF?
