I understand that Clomid is very helpful for those who do not ovulate. However, it thins your uterine lining. So not worth taking if it is just to regulate your cycle. If you are definitely ovulating, even irregularly, surely this is better than regular cycles where there is a poor place to implant? Anyway, I'm sure your doctor will discuss the pros and cons with you.

The current advice as I understand it is to BD every 2-3 days throughout your cycle to cover all bases. It is normal for some fluctuation on the days you ovulate from cycle to cycle. OPKs can improve your picture.

Once you have been trying for 12 months with no success, go to your doctor for testing so you can find out if you are actually ovulating and what the quantity and quality of the sperm are (remember it takes two to tango!).

It takes about 2 months for sperm to be formed and the quality and quantity can vary quite a lot. Make sure both of you are taking fertility vitamins to improve your chances.

I O on cd14 for my 30 day cycles. Dont worry about when other women O, we're all different. Ur tests look like theyre almost there, probably an obvious positive later today.
