my breast have been feeling more normal than usual what does this mean?

My period has been very irregular lately. this month it came four days late and right now its actually not as heavy as usual. My blood flow at present is not feeling up a tampon. The color is red and sort of brownish. I noticed that my breast have felt heavier than usual. I took a pregnancy test the 3 day i was late and it was negative and today would be day 4. i believe that i have had some symtoms of pregnacy but i dont want to trick my self. Me and my husband have been trying to concieve for a while and hear lately its been fustrating Does the fact that my breast feel heavy have anything to do with this they have been itching more than normal and acheing when i take my bra off if anyone can help I will be very grateful
