Question

HCG not completely doubled, should I be concerned?

I'm 4 weeks, 1 day today. On Monday (3w 6d) my HCG was 61.95, and today it was 115. I keep reading that it's supposed to double, and it's close - but not fully double. The nurse said it was okay, but it still has me a little concerned. Anyone have a similar situation, with a good outcome??

My doctor told me that as long as there is a significant increase (that is almost double), that there usually isn't any problem. Every woman is different. Some exceed it by a lot and some don't quite double.

In my case, it went from 66 to 87, which indicated a problem. As long as your doctor/nurse is not concerned...well I won't say don't be because I don't think any pregnant woman isn't concerned about everything for every minute they are pregnant. Maybe be less concerned? I wish you well and good luck on your journey.

It should double within 48 to 72 hours. Your doubling time is 52.47. Sounds pretty darn perfect to me! Congrats!
