Question

I need reassurance.

On Monday I took a HPT and it came out a faint positive. Every morning since then I've taken another HPT and they all came out positives.

I jumped the gun and tested before my expected AF. It's supposed to start on Saturday. So I tested 5 days early.

What are the chances of this being a chemical pregnancy? I was researching and found that and it kind of freaked me out.

We've been trying for 9 months and want this so bad.

I go to the doctors on Tuesday to hopefully confirm. But in the mean time, I'm stressed.

I really want this to be the one.

My first two pregnancies, I tested 4 and 5 days before AF was due, and yeah, they were healthy and successful. My 3rd pregnancy, I tested the day AF was due, and it was a chemical.

Early or late BFPs don't mean much - either it's going to happen or it isn't. If you test early, yeah, you could detect a chemical pregnancy... however my pregnancy didn't terminate until 4 days after my period was due, so even if I had waited, I still would have detected it and realized I had a loss.

Congrats on your BFP!
