IVF/ICSI Success?
Hi ladies, I'm just starting my journey into fertility treatment due to my partners low sperm count (0.2ml) I'm 22 and been checked out and everything's come back normal, not sure if we'll be advised down the IVF or ICSI root yet but wondering what the success rates are/your personal experiences? We live in the UK and get 3 goes on the NHS and would never be able to afford any more tries outside of that help so very nervous for this to work for us...

I'm more than double your age, so my odds with IVF are way lower than yours. At your age, your odds are probably around 60% or so. Mine are 1-2%. However, out of 3 IVF cycles, I've gotten pregnant twice. I have one perfect little girl who is 2. My last pregnancy ended sadly due to a rare genetic condition. Good luck!

Hi ya. We had successful IVF with ICSI due to hubby's low sperm count (I'm 33 and all good). We used the lister fertility clinic in London. They was brilliant. (I also egg shared so got my treatment for free)!! However I don't think they take on NHS patients. You need to check clinics in your area as with NHS I think your limited to what's close to you.
It does seem daunting to start with but honestly its not as bad as you think. It's just emotionally draining. Good luck, there are many good clinics here :)
