Increased cervical mucus that disappeared after 6 days...anyone else have this and still get a BFP?

I have been TTC for over a year and my DH and I tried preseed for the first time this cycle so I don't know what to think.

I was having snot like cervical mucus that was white/pale yellow from 2dpo to 7dpo. On 8dpo I saw 2 pin size drops of blood on the toilet paper when I wiped but since then the CM has become tacky and has decreased. I have also had two pregnancy dreams on 6dpo and 7dpo. I have never had this type of CM after ovulation and have never had mid cycle spotting. I was getting so hopeful that I was pregnant but today all my symptoms have disappeared. Has anyone ever had a similar situation and still got a BFP?

I was getting so hopeful and today I just feel like I am out this month. I am afraid to do a text and get yet another BFN. Any words of wisdom?
