birth control.. anyone got pregnant quick?
i was already a week into my period (i'm irregular) so i got on birth control. i started that sunday ( 7 day of period) had unprotected sex on the 5th day of the pill.
could there be a chance that i might be pregnant?
i can't really tell if i've stopped my period but i'm gonna say i stopped today.
i just always have a lot of discharge before and then spotting towards the end.
anyone ever been in this predicament?

The doctors normally say the pill covers you on day1 but if taken later or missed to use a extra barrier method for the following 7days. Day 7 can be risky for some people depending on when they ovulate in their cycle, so could possibly mean pregnancy.
I would take a pregnancy test when your due your next period.

There's always a chance of pregnancy, they arent 100%. I missed none and I got preg, was on 'em for 6 months at that point...it happens, esp if u miss pills. Actually, perfect example, my gf is pregnant from missing the first 4 pills in her pack. She took every one after, but missed the first 4 (her pharmacy didnt have the pills needed to fill her script), she'll be 8wks on Sunday. Like pp said, if u dont want a baby, make sure to use a second form of bc, even if ur taking them daily, they can fail!! Good luck! =))
