Still confused about OPK's
Saturday afternoon I posted a picture of my OPK which everyone voted positive. It was day 11 of my cycle so I was really concerned because I have never O'd that early in the year I have been keeping track. Even on the months that we aren't trying I still keep very close tabs on my cycle, imputing all my info on my calendar. For the last year my cycles have been either 28 or 29 days with an ovulation date on either day 15 or 16. Sunday and Monday I did another OPK just too see if I had ovulated because I really didn't think that I did on Saturday, I always have cramping when I am ovulating. So Sunday and Monday I tested in the middle of the day both were super positive with the test line being much much darker than the control line and I began cramping last night. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Thanks ladies!! We BD'd last night and will again tonight but did not on Saturday or Sunday because I had an nasty case of the flu.

I just went though almost the same thing. I had an almost positive on a Friday, a true positive on both Saturday and Sunday and an almost positive on Monday. I thought maybe I was ovulating 2 follicles? I also had a lot of cramping during this time. Well blood work said I did not ovulate. I questioned my Dr about my opk results and he said it isn't normal, but not out of the ordinary to have multiple days of positive tests, esp with digital or more sensitive tests.
I don't think I helped much, but you are not alone in having crazy cycle.

Thanks! I am just trying to figure out when I O'd if it was closer to Sunday the day after I got the positive or today when I got the super dark positive. I only BD'd last night because I was super sick Saturday and Sunday. I tried another one this afternoon and it was clearly negative.
