Question

Getting down time frame

I am CD 9 today and my opks are getting darker. Last mth my first positive came on CD 11. Me and hubby BDanced that night but not again as he was out of town working. Did not get pregnant and wondering where I missed it. I get my period ever 27-28 days very consistent. Maybe we bdanced too early? I don't know... maybe don't bother with opks and just go by my cycle numbers? Thank you for any suggestions!

OPK's are very helpful, however once you get a positive you are not actually ovulating at that moment. OPK's become positive and then you actually ovulate anywhere from 24-36 hours later. My advice would be to have sex every other day once OPK becomes positive. From that particular day to at least a week forward. You can have sex everyday, but sometimes this creates a low sperm count which can actually hurt your chances. But, remember - a healthy, fertile couple only has about a 25% each cycle in becoming pregnant. Keep practicing!! And, if it doesn't happen this month - keep your head up. I am sure you will become pregnant very soon! Good Luck!

Thank you so much Luvky2009! I believe I ovulated on the CD14 and got my first +OPK on the 11 CD. I had lots of egg white discharge on CD 14. So prob just missed the actual ovulation! Thank you so much for the info!
