LH Surge Detected and Not Detected
I tested around 3:30 PM my first LH surge and a faint line showed up with the control line. After a while I checked back and it looks a bit darker, but not quite as dark as the control line so that's a negative read. Well, I took another ovu test at 7:15 PM and no line showed up with the control line. I checked a while later and barely a faint line there.. Did I miss my ovulation and its going down or is it harder to read for evening times?

Hi What cycle days are you testing on? It could be that your urine was too diluted at 7:15 pm. If I know I am going to test when I get home from work I try not to drink too much water the 1hr before and I hold it to make sure it is concentrated enough. As you get closer to ovulating it will get darker. Even when I have had a ton of water during the day my OPKs still are darker then the control when it's positive. Good luck to you hope this helped!

Laceyk616, I have about a 35-36 day cycle so I waited to start testing on CD18 Yesterday.
My first one ever taken around 3 was the strongest LH detection of yesterday and today. Today, my EVENING opk test is stronger than the first one taken today and yesterdays evening one, BUT it is not the strongest. Is it just possible that the surge is being detected more than others at random times? the other two are fairly light.. almost not noticable. It's not until a few hours later that it actually shows up
