Question

AF a week late, approx 21 dpo, but all BFNs!! Could I still possibly be pregnant??

I am now officially late, CD38 when I'm usually 30-31. I know it sounds ridiculous but I felt nauseous the day after we did the deed which was definitely in my fertile period. Since then I've had intermittent nausea, exhaustion, cramping on most days, frequent urination (worse in the last week), constantly hungry, and my breasts have become SO sore in the last few days. My CM is going a bit crazy, some days it's excessive and some days it's barely there. I keep expecting AF to rear her ugly head but nothing... I've tried so many different brands of HPT but all BFNs :(

I've heard of some women never showing positive on a HPT or at least not showing until weeks later, so I guess there is always hope until AF shows up! Any other ladies in the same boat, or have success stories about getting a BFP much later on??

I am going through something similar right now. AF is two weeks late, except that I had some slight spotting right before she was due. I'm still testing negative. I got a blood test today: negative. This is not reassuring to me because I'm definitely not imagining my symptoms (extreme exhaustion, increased appetite, nausea and vomiting, vivid dreams, the works!). Anyway, I don't really have any advice, but I'll update if anything definitive happens. In the meantime, I'm just trying to stay healthy and positive. Good luck to you!!

I'm glad to know I'm not alone Janeybird! People keep saying that maybe I'm just talking myself into thinking I'm pregnant but I am definitely not imagining these symptoms. I've heard before that blood tests can be wrong too, and women will retest a few weeks later only to find out they really are pregnant! I'm trying to stay positive but it is so difficult to focus on anything else at this point in time. Good luck to you too and definitely keep me updated on how you go :)

I think I can be of some help :)

I tested negative several times when late for my period and still got a positive at five and a half weeks this month, However my sister and my mum never got positives till they where NINE WEEKS!

Its not impossible, HCG is different in each woman and our bodies build it the way it likes!

Good luck hunny, keep me updated xxx baby dust

Thanks so much MrsJackson, that definitely does give me hope! And a big congratulations on your BFP, you must be over the moon :)! I'm now 8 days late which I haven't experienced since I was a teenager, I keep thinking AF is coming but no sign of her just yet! I'm thinking I need to just book in the blood test but I'll be devastated if that's negative too. The waiting game continues!
