This is absolutely normal especially for your first time. I know how hard it is worrying about every little pain but as long as you aren't in extreme pain or bleeding just try to relax. Just think you're already worrying about your baby which is something us mom as will do for the rest of our lives no matter how old they get! Good luck to you!

Yes it is! I have had them with all my pregnancies.. everything in there is stretching and growing :-) Makes u think you're going to start your period buy drink water and lay down... they subside. Good luck!!

I had strong period-like cramps for DAYS before I finally decided to take a pregnancy test and was shocked to see it turn positive. The cramps continued and even got worse for a few more weeks then they went away.

This is so normal. With my first pregnancy I thought my AF was coming as I was suffering from lots of cramps. Turned out I was preg. The cramps lasted for weeks, the dr said it was all my ligaments stretching preparing for pregnancy. Stay positive, and enjoy the ride :)

I am five weeks and a half too :D

I am really worried and scared too, I have strong cramps which come and go - but my mum who has had 6 children assures me that its our body changing. Dont worry :)

Im trying to enjoy my pregnancy as much as possible, but when its your first you can help but worry :p
