Question

Ovulation: fluid or cervix opening?

When gauging ovulation, have you noticed that your fertile fluid is more accurate or your cervical opening (or position)?

My cervix has been WIDE open for a week now. I normally ovulate cycle day 15 according to past bbt charting and opk's (although last cycle i did ovulate day 16). Fertile fluid peak was day 14-15 but here I am day 18 and my cervix is still VERY open. Still wet, but more sticky. Cervix high and medium texture. I did not bbt or opk this month on purpose, but I am confused as to whether I have even ovulated. Why is my cervix still so wide open!?

I dont trust my cervix...it does whatever it wants. Half the time it opens for O but stays hard, the other half it gets soft but doesnt open. I poke at it, but Idc what its doing cuz its rarely helpful. I think cm is more trustable, between the two, but even that can be altered by hormonal surges. Shoulda temped!!

I was taking a break this month, But i still wanted to know when I ovulated just because I am keeping an eye on my luteal phase for signs of hormone imbalance since its been all over the place the past 4 months. Oh well. Doesn't matter much.
