Just in case anyone is following this in the future... I wanted to provide an update. I had a follicle scan today and had two mature follicles (24mm and 18.5mm)!!! I got an HCG trigger shot, so I should ovulate this weekend. :) Fingers crossed this is it!!!

Hi, congratulations on your follicles! I to have PSOC and have been TTC for 4 years! Clomid did nothing for me and I went right up to the highest dose possible. I did Letrozole last cycle and although things looked better than when I was on clomid didn't get anything. Went to the hospital on Tuesday for my 2nd cycle scan on a 5mg dose and I have a 20mm egg! So pleased. Doctor could only find my left ovary on screen so not sure if there was anything in the right but I think he could see I was so pleased just to have one he stopped looking and gave me the HCG trigger shot. I am not sure that I will get my BFP this month (although DH has given it a good go) but what a step in the right direction. I was starting to feel like I would never get an egg come through and that I was running out of options. Feel so much more positive now and the doctor has said that if it doesnt work this cycle I can up my dose to 7.5mg so hoping for a few more eggs next time. Good luck to you. Keep me updated xx

Wow!!! Congratulations to you!!! I hope we both get our BFP this go around, but if not at least things are looking up. It's amazing what modern medicine can do. Good luck to you! Thank you for sharing your story!!

Congrats to both u ladies I too have pcos and I took 2 rounds of clomid 50mg and nothing no O. I took Femara 5mg and I O!!! yes I Femara ia a miracle to some of us pcos cysters ladies I am also on a blog called soulcysters.org for women with pcos ttc and who have conceived that is where I learned about Femara. It is a great site and it blessed me so. I pray u ladies get ur bfp! I'm not ttc currently but I will definitely use femara again when I do start back!
