Question

Is it normal to ovulate from one side?

For the last 3 cycles (ones I paid attention to), I've had ovulation pain on my left side. I'm starting to feel it again on the same side. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Poll:
alternate each cycle (0 votes)
mostly left (4 votes)
mostly right (2 votes)
no ov pain (0 votes)

Mostly left.

5 years TTC. Endometriosis and adenomyosis. Surgery. 2 IVFs. No joy. Low ovarian reserve. Is there any real hope? DE IVF = next step. Much higher success rates, but so used to things not working, it's hard to feel too hopeful. Wishing others an easier time.

That's interesting. Good to know since most places I've read that usually they alternate. Now I'm curious how the poll will turn out. Thanks!

Wow! Tasha, was it the ovulation that you were feeling (resonating on the on the left)? Or was the pain caused by something else?

Men have no idea how complicated we really are :-)
