New to BBT and Charting...HELP!!! I'm so confused, what am I looking at??!
This is my first month BBTing and using a chart... I have no idea what is going on, I have no idea if my chart is normal or not, can someone or many people please look at it and tell me what I'm looking at and what's going on. I'm so confused and getting really frustrated! :( (I bbt at 6am every morning, and I've been using OPK's every morning as well.) HELP!

Without knowing if your OPK was truly positive, I don't think you have O'd yet, to be honest. I've been charting and temping for several years now, and for a clear temperature shift, you need at least 3 temperatures above your coverline, which you don't have. I think that's a good thing though - because O'ing early can be just as bad as O'ing late and may require RE intervention. How long are your cycles typically? If you O'd at cd8/9, you're looking at 22/23 day cycles which indicates a problem. OPK's don't actually detect ovulation, they only detect an LH surge, and LH can surge several times during your cycle, with the largest surge causing the follicle to finally release the egg. Just make sure to keep temping at the same time every day, before any big movements, and after a minimum of 3-4 hours of solid rest. Once you have that temp shift of at least .5 a degree and for 3 consecutive days, then you have successfully O'd. Hope this helps!!

I would keep BDing. That doesn't look like a confirmed O to me. But I only just started charting two months ago. I think generally the positive OPK is approx day before o. Obviously, even still, we are all not the same. I think you should maybe keep using OPKs for a bit, just in case,
